Hulu Thailand: local shows, not a U.S. subscription
Is Hulu Available in Thailand?
Short answer: Hulu-branded films and series are available inside Disney+ Thailand. The separate U.S. Hulu service does not include official streaming in Thailand.
First check the exact show and season in the current Thai Disney+ app. If you already pay through AIS but are asked to subscribe again, check account activation before paying a second time. The old app’s 15 October 2026 deadline has now passed.

The local subscription
What Hulu means inside Disney+ Thailand
Disney’s Thai site names Hulu as its general-entertainment brand. Its local catalog is not a copy of U.S. Hulu, and a Thai subscription does not include American Hulu + Live TV.

A local payment method buys the local service. It does not create a U.S. Hulu account, and a residential U.S. connection does not add a streaming subscription.
Two different services
Does a U.S. Hulu account work in Thailand?
Hulu does not include official international streaming in Thailand. Its international-use guidance describes a subscription for a single U.S. household, requires a U.S.-issued payment method and does not support proxy services. Live TV is not available internationally.
An account brought from the United States does not remove those rules. Disney+ Thailand’s Hulu brand and TrueMoney checkout are not an alternative sign-up route for the American Hulu service.

AIS says the new Disney+ app launched on 16 September 2026; the old app ended on 15 October. Use the current app and MyDisney.

Not billed by AIS? Check the provider named on your receipt or bank statement and follow its account instructions. Do not assume an AIS process applies to a direct Disney+ or another partner subscription.

A useful answer starts with the title
Find the right season and language in Thailand
- Search the current Thai Disney+ catalog. Try the English and Thai title where available, using a profile whose content rating allows the show.
- Open the season and episode list. A poster, U.S. trailer or Hulu logo does not prove that the season you want is included locally.
- Check that episode’s audio and subtitles. Disney advertises Thai dubbing for selected content, not every title. Confirm the language you need before subscribing.
- Check the plan and device together. Use the provider’s supported-device information and your actual plan entitlement, rather than assuming a phone subscription or 4K TV includes every feature.
If the series is absent, look for its Thai distributor or local licensed release. A U.S. premiere date is not a Thai availability date.

Use the current official Disney+ app for the Thai catalog. The four videos below were recorded in December 2022 and show USip connection setup; they are not a current Hulu playback test. App screens and supported software can change.

Windows: browser and account checks

Mac: compare the exact error
Use the Mac guide for USip setup. If two supported browsers behave differently, record the message and check their settings before changing system-wide privacy or networking features. Do not assume the cause from the browser name alone.

Android: use the current Thai Disney+ app
Install the current Disney+ app from the official store and sign in with the account holding your entitlement. A USip connection does not change Google Play country or add a streaming plan. Keep an account-country change separate from routine troubleshooting.

iPhone and iPad: confirm the linked account
For the local catalog, use the current Disney+ app and confirm the account linked to your subscription. If Apple is the biller, review that subscription in Apple account settings. Use the iOS guide for USip setup without disabling Location Services by default.

A laptop connection does not automatically cover a smart TV. Review device-specific options in the Smart DNS guide and check the streaming provider’s compatibility list. Do not change a shared condo or hotel router without the owner’s permission.

How to pay for Hulu in Thailand
Is the charge coming from a Thai bank card or an AIS package?
If you signed up for Disney+ through AIS, look up the package on your AIS account and compare its billing schedule with your mobile bill. AIS describes packages with different payment periods, including an annual commitment paid in monthly instalments. A monthly charge alone does not establish that you bought a month-to-month plan. If you entered a Kasikornbank debit card at a provider’s checkout instead, K PLUS lets you review the card’s online purchase setting. That may help with a Thai subscription that accepts the card. For direct US Hulu billing, a Thai-issued card does not meet Hulu’s issuer rule. Hulu also checks the billing ZIP against the details held by the US issuer. Hulu in Thailand: common questions
Is Hulu available in Thailand?
Hulu-branded entertainment is available within Disney+ Thailand. The separate American Hulu subscription does not include official international streaming in Thailand.
Is Disney+ Thailand the same as U.S. Hulu?
No. Its local catalog, seasons and language options can differ. A Thai Disney+ subscription does not include the full American Hulu library or Hulu + Live TV.
Can I still use the old Thai Disney+ app?
AIS listed 15 October 2026 as the old app’s final day. That deadline has passed; use the current Disney+ app and follow the instructions for your existing subscription.
Why does Disney+ ask me to pay when I already have an AIS package?
Check that the existing entitlement is linked to the intended MyDisney account. If it is already linked, follow AIS’s support instructions before buying another subscription.
Can I pay for local Disney+ with TrueMoney?
Disney+ Thailand lists TrueMoney among its web payment options. This is for local Disney+, not a U.S. Hulu payment or account workaround.
Are Thai dubbing and every season included?
Not necessarily. Check the particular title, season and episode for available audio and subtitles; the service advertises Thai dubbing for selected content.
Does USip include Hulu or Disney+?
No. USip provides a residential U.S. connection only. Streaming subscriptions are separate, and a provider can reject VPN or proxy traffic.
