Fubo in the UAE: It Has Never Been Sold Here

No Emirati Fubo has ever existed, and unusually for a market this wealthy, there is not much behind it either. The league itself lists no local broadcaster.

Short answer

Fubo has never operated in the United Arab Emirates. And the NFL’s own Middle East and North Africa page names exactly one broadcaster for the whole region — Saudi Sport Co — and no Emirati service at all. What does cover the UAE is the league’s own Game Pass on DAZN, which carries every game of the season.

Start here

The League Lists One Broadcaster for the Whole Region

A market with eleven and a half million people and $54,000 a head, and the league’s own page has nothing local on it.

Fubo’s availability article names two other countries. The UAE is not one of them:

“We also have services available in Canada and Spain.”

Fubo Help Center — is Fubo available in my country?

No Emirati launch, so no Emirati shutdown. So far, so much like every other market in this set.

What makes the UAE different is what sits behind that absence. The NFL publishes a ways-to-watch page for the Middle East and North Africa. For an entire region it names one broadcaster:

“Saudi Sport Co — airs Sunday Afternoon, Primetime and International Games leading up to the NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl”

NFL.com — ways to watch, Middle East & North Africa

Not an Emirati service. Not a Gulf-wide one. One broadcaster, named for a different country.

The careful version of that claim. This does not mean no operator in the UAE carries American sport — this page has not read every Emirati operator and does not know. What it means is the narrower and better-evidenced thing: the league’s own regional page lists nothing for the UAE. When a sport’s own governing body cannot name you a local broadcaster, that is worth knowing before you go looking for one.

The route that is definitely here

The NFL sells its own pass internationally through DAZN, and describes it without qualification:

“Every NFL game live throughout the season, including the International Games, Playoffs and Super Bowl LXI.”

NFL.com — what is NFL Game Pass on DAZN

“Available internationally only on DAZN in more than 200 markets.”

Same page

More than two hundred markets, which includes this one. For American football that is a complete answer, sold by the league, and it does not depend on any regional broadcaster existing.

Who is actually asking

The UAE has one of the largest expatriate populations anywhere, including a great many Americans and Britons. A lot of the demand for American television here is not curiosity — it is people who grew up with these channels and would like them back.

That is a reasonable thing to want, and it is also the reason to be careful: wanting something familiar makes it easy to buy the first thing that promises it. The league’s own pass is the cheapest complete answer for the NFL, and it is worth ruling in or out before anything larger.

The company, not the app

Where Fubo Operates, in Fubo’s Own Words

Four markets, none of them in the Gulf.

“Most programming on Fubo is only available in the United States and U.S. territories.”

Fubo Help Center — is Fubo available in my country?

“The programming available in these countries is not the same as what's available in the U.S.”

Worth keeping straight in a market where several American brands are sold through regional operators under regional terms: Fubo runs four services, and Fubo itself says their programming does not match.

MarketWhat is sold there
United StatesThe full vMVPD: local ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates, regional sports networks, the entertainment tiers.
CanadaSports only since April 2026 — and every Premier League match, exclusively.
SpainA Spanish free-to-air bundle for a few euros a month. Not a sports vMVPD at all.
FranceNo Fubo brand. Fubo owns Molotov, which is sold under its own name.

What the American Service Costs

These are the American numbers, in US dollars.

Fubo plan (United States)Price per month
Essential, Pro, Core$88.99
Elite, Ultra$98.99
Ultimate$113.99
Deluxe$118.99
Fubo Sports$64.99

Fubo currently sells Pro, Core, Elite and Ultra as English-language TV plans, a Sports + News service and a Spanish-language Latino plan. The figures above are Fubo’s own, published in its help centre and checked on 21 September 2026.

They went up in 2026 after Fubo agreed carriage of NBCUniversal’s networks, announced on 10 June 2026: TV plans by $15 a month, the Sports service by $9. Fubo does not give a single switchover date — it says the date “will vary depending on when NBCUniversal channels become available in your area”. A regional sports fee of $15.99 a month applies where NBC’s regional networks are carried.

For an expatriate household the appeal of that table is not really the sport. It is the American local channels and the entertainment tiers — the ordinary television people miss — and those are the part no regional alternative offers at all.

It is also the part most affected by Fubo’s own rules below, because which local channels an account is offered depends on where the stream is happening. Worth reading that section before deciding what this table buys.

Fubo’s own conditions

Rules That Apply to Any Fubo Account

Fubo’s published rules, and the two that matter most from this distance.

01

Territory

Fubo’s travel article states that the American service is available in the United States and its territories, and that a subscriber travelling outside those areas will not be able to watch it.

02

Local channels follow the stream

The ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates on an American plan are decided by where the stream is happening rather than where the account was opened. They are the part of the package least likely to behave the way a new subscriber expects.

03

Regional sports need a check-in

Regional Sports Networks do travel, but a device used outside the home area must be checked in from the home area at least once every thirty days. Miss the window and the network stops appearing on that device.

04

Televisions are one location at a time

Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, Roku, Xbox and smart TVs stream from a single location at a time. Phones, tablets and web browsers do not carry that restriction.

“Local channels such as ABC, CBS, or FOX will not travel with you. The local programming you receive is based on your location when streaming Fubo.”

Fubo Help Center — watching away from home

“Regional Sports channels will travel with you, any devices you use outside of your home area must be ‘checked in’ from your home area at least once per 30 days.”

Same article

“You can only stream on connected TV devices (Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Roku, Xbox One) or Smart TVs from one location at a time.”

Same article

The second rule is the one that disappoints expatriate subscribers most often. American local channels are the thing people miss, and they are the least portable part of the package by design.

The thirty-day home-area check-in is the other. It is not a long window from the Gulf, and the regional sports networks are a real share of the price.

What USip actually sells

What a Residential US IP Address Changes — and What It Does Not

What it changes

  • Presents a residential United States network route in place of a non-US one
  • Keeps one consistent network identity through sign-in and playback
  • Separates a location question from an account, plan or rights question while you are working out which one you have
  • Lets you test in a desktop browser before configuring a television or a streaming stick

What it leaves untouched

  • Your Fubo account, your plan, or the channels that plan includes
  • Which local channels you are offered — Fubo says those follow the location the stream is happening in
  • The thirty-day home-area check-in that regional sports networks require
  • The one-location-at-a-time rule on connected televisions
  • Whether Fubo serves you. Fubo decides that, and nothing on this page is a guarantee that it will

USip sells the network part and nothing else. Every rule in the section above is Fubo’s and still applies in full.

From the UAE the sequence is simple. The NFL has a complete, league-sold answer that covers this market. Everything beyond the NFL is where the genuine gap is, and that is the question worth spending money on rather than the first one.

Before you spend anything

Four Checks Worth Making From the UAE

The first two are free and may be the whole answer.

01

Start with the NFL, if that is the sport

The league’s own Game Pass on DAZN covers more than two hundred markets including this one and carries every game. It is the cheapest complete answer for American football.

02

Check what your existing subscription already has

Households here often already hold a regional sports package for football or cricket. Read its current line-up before adding anything; this page has not read them and cannot tell you.

03

Separate sport from ordinary American television

If what you actually miss is the local news, the networks and the entertainment channels, no sports package answers that, and saying so is more useful than selling you one.

04

Only then price the American service

The Sports service is $64.99 a month before the regional sports fee and the entertainment tiers start at $88.99, in US dollars.

Residential US IP addresses

Choose the USip Plan That Fits

USip sells residential US IP addresses. It is a network product, and on a page written largely for people who miss the television they grew up with, it is worth being exact about what it does and does not change.

Questions people actually ask

Fubo in the UAE: Frequently Asked Questions

Is Fubo available in the UAE?

No, and it never has been. Fubo’s own availability article names Canada and Spain as its only other markets, and its corporate descriptions add only Molotov in France.

Which broadcaster carries the NFL in the UAE?

The NFL’s own Middle East and North Africa page names one broadcaster for the region, Saudi Sport Co, and no Emirati service. That is what the league lists; it is not a survey of every operator here.

Can I watch the NFL in the UAE?

Yes. The league’s own Game Pass on DAZN is available in more than two hundred markets and carries every game of the season including the playoffs and the Super Bowl.

Did Fubo shut down in the UAE?

No. There was never an Emirati Fubo service to shut down.

What does Saudi Sport Co carry?

By the NFL’s own description: Sunday afternoon, primetime and International Games, leading up to the playoffs and the Super Bowl.

Is American entertainment television available here?

This page is about Fubo and does not survey the Emirati market. What it can say is that no sports subscription answers that question, and that American local stations are the least portable part of any American package.

Will Fubo launch in the Gulf?

Nothing Fubo has published says so, and this page will not speculate. As of 21 September 2026 its market list is unchanged.
