FROM is the series that brings most people to a page like this one, and in Spain it belongs to Warner. HBO Max España has all four seasons, and the fourth arrived on 19 April 2026 — day-and-date with the American premiere. Now the gap, stated rather than hidden. A third-party database lists The Westies, Robin Hood, Billy the Kid, Hotel Cocaine and The Institute in the MGM+ Spain catalogue. That may well be right — it matches what MGM+ carries in Britain and Germany. But Amazon does not publish a Spanish MGM+ catalogue anywhere a reader can check, its storefronts refuse automated requests, and Spanish television guides do not track MGM+ as a provider at all. So this page does not assert it.

MGM+ reached Spain, Germany, Austria, Italy and the Netherlands in early April 2023, rebuilt out of the Lionsgate catalogue after the Lionsgate+ shutdown. It opened lower; the figure documented since May 2025, and still current in a Spanish guide dated September 2026, is €4.99.
The comparison worth drawing is not price against price. It is that the cheaper subscription is a different catalogue with a different release calendar — and in Spain’s case, one whose contents Amazon does not list publicly.

One plan, one price, no advertising tier. That simplicity is itself a difference: the American service is a single subscription to a single catalogue, and the thing people are usually chasing is that catalogue and its release dates rather than a cheaper tier.
The five-service bundle launched on 15 September 2026 and Amazon’s own announcement scopes it to the United States. It has not been extended anywhere else.
What Spain buys for less is a different catalogue under the same name. That is the whole comparison, and the sections above set out what sits where.

What Amazon actually publishes about where MGM+ is sold — and what it does not publish, which matters just as much.
There is no MGM+ availability list. Neither Amazon nor MGM+ publishes a page naming the countries it serves, which is the first thing to know if you are trying to check any of this yourself. What Amazon publishes instead is a count, in the boilerplate at the foot of its press releases:

Treat the number with care, because Amazon’s own figures disagree with each other. The same boilerplate said 33 countries in February 2026 and 34 in July, and a separate Amazon page updated on 21 September 2026 says “more than 30”. The regions have not changed in any release since February, so the regions are what this page relies on: the United States, Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and Canada. Africa and the Middle East have never appeared in any of them.
There is a second published list that is more useful, because it is a hard limit rather than a claim. Outside America, MGM+ is sold almost entirely as an add-on subscription inside Prime Video — so the countries where Amazon sells add-ons at all are the ceiling on where MGM+ can reach:

Twenty-five markets, and that is why there is no MGM+ anywhere in the Gulf, in Egypt, or in South Africa, Nigeria or Kenya: Amazon does not sell add-on subscriptions in those marketplaces at all.
One more distinction, because it catches people out. The plain MGM channel Amazon has sold for years in several countries is an older library-film channel and is not MGM+. And an MGM-branded television channel abroad is neither: MGM sold its international channel business in 2012, AMC Networks bought it in 2014 and renamed those channels AMC. Three different things, one word.
