AMC+ in Mainland China: Where to Look for Mad Men and How to Check Your Subscription
AMC+ does not list mainland China as a supported territory. If you want Mad Men, search for 广告狂人 on the mainland iQIYI site. Its collection identifies seasons one through five. For another show, use the Chinese title and season number before deciding whether a subscription is useful.

Which episode are you trying to find?
Start with Don Draper rather than an app-store search. On iQIYI’s Mad Men collection, the characters 广告狂人 identify the series, and the page title specifies seasons 1–5. The US AMC+ episode guide is a useful cross-check for the English episode title. Write down the season and episode before opening the Chinese listing. Searching only for the English title can turn up interviews and clips alongside the programme.
On a mainland service, 第三季 means season three and 第六集 means episode six. Look for 正片 (the programme itself) or a numbered episode. 片花 and 预告 are promotional material. The iQIYI page is a catalogue lead. It does not establish that an episode plays today, that later seasons are included or that an iQIYI membership includes it. Check the player’s current offer before paying.

Write down the season and episode
If you are looking for S3E6, match 第三季 and 第六集 in the iQIYI listing.
Open the numbered episode
Skip results marked 预告 (trailer) or 片花 (promo). Check whether the episode asks for membership or a separate payment.
Check the app before starting a trial
If you already subscribe, look at the merchant on your receipt. An offer to subscribe again can mean you opened the wrong player.
Find the company on your AMC+ receipt
An Apple TV Channel purchase and a direct AMC+ subscription can have the same programme artwork. They take different sign-in routes. If you purchased the AMC+ channel inside Prime Video, open the Prime Video account that made the purchase. An Apple TV Channel belongs in the Apple TV app. Direct AMC+ customers use AMC+ itself. If the website invites you to start a trial despite a charge on your statement, check who sent the receipt. A second subscription can leave you with two bills and the same regional limitation. A mainland iQIYI login cannot restore an AMC+ purchase.
Before taking AMC+ to the mainland
While still in your home market, open a full episode under your existing subscription. A trailer can play on a different basis. Note the app, device and exact episode. AMC’s terms identify its licensed territories and mainland China is outside them. A functioning account, a US IP address or a listing from Hong Kong or Taiwan does not add the mainland to that list.
For a flight, check whether that exact title offers a download in the app where you subscribe. Open the downloads list on the device you will carry. Do not plan a long stay around an untested download or assume every AMC+ channel partner offers the same feature.
When only the trailer works
Return to the episode picker. A mainland player may ask for VIP, a separate fee or a different season. Photograph the Chinese prompt for the local platform’s support team. If your US app instead reports a territorial restriction, contact the company on your receipt about your account or renewal. Buying network access does not buy either video subscription.
Connection setup by device
For an AMC+ direct subscription, use the AMC+ player. For a subscription billed as an Amazon or Apple TV Channel, open that channel in the corresponding app. The recording demonstrates connection setup and cannot establish Chinese playback rights.

The mainland collection linked here identifies seasons one through five. Check the later season separately. A listing for season one is insufficient evidence for seasons six or seven.
