Hulu from Lithuania, Without the Guesswork
Lithuania has a large diaspora in the United States and the United Kingdom, and a lot of the accounts involved here were opened somewhere else. The service you are looking for is a United States product. Hulu’s help centre lists one country of availability and no others.
Disney+ reached Lithuania on 14 June 2022, in the wave that took the service to 60 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa — Disney+ available in 60 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Disney, June 2022). The word ‘Hulu’ started appearing in Disney+ outside the United States on 8 October 2025, when Disney renamed the Star hub.
It is the same word over a different catalogue — rights are bought country by country, and the U.S. deals do not travel.
This page is written for someone who wants to know what is true before spending anything. It separates the three things people run together — what Hulu sells, what your account is entitled to, and what your connection looks like from Hulu’s side — and it says where our part of it stops.

Why the Hulu tile appeared in Lithuania without a Hulu subscription

What Hulu checks when you connect from Lithuania
Address type is the variable people miss. A commercial hosting range and a residential line are both ‘in the U.S.’ and are not read the same way.
When Hulu decides the connection is wrong, it says so: “Error playing this video. You appear to be using an anonymous proxy tool.” The code attached to it is P-EDU101. That message is the whole feedback loop: it tells you the address was inspected and judged.
The product here is a residential U.S. IP connection. It answers the location question and leaves every other question untouched. No Hulu subscription is bundled. Hulu’s billing page lists U.S.-based credit and debit cards, PayPal and gift cards. A card issued in another country is not on that list. A gift card has to be bought in the U.S. and redeemed on a hulu.com page, so it does not remove the location question — it just moves it.
