Sling does not have a Norwegian edition. In Norway the Premier League is on Viaplay, while UEFA lists TV 2 for the 2026/27 Champions League. If you want the American channel itself, check Freestream and your paid channel separately. A Telenor TV-package login or a USip subscription does not supply a Sling account.

A search for “watch football on Sling in Norway” hides two different goals. To see the match itself, start with its competition. Viaplay Norway lists the Premier League under Viaplay Total. For the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League, UEFA lists TV 2 for Norway. The same club can therefore play on two different Norwegian services in the same week. Look up the competition and kickoff before buying another sports package.
If what you miss is a US commentator, studio panel or American news channel, the local match is not the whole answer. Find the network on the American listing and, separately, the exact channel in Sling’s channel guide. A clip on the network’s website can be available even when its full live channel is not.
A fixture can appear in the T-We guide yet still need the Viaplay app for playback. Telenor specifically tells customers to activate their Viaplay account. Before opening a new directly billed subscription, check the package selected on your Telenor account for the sport you want. A film-and-series tier and a sports tier can both carry the Viaplay name. Viaplay’s Norwegian feature guide describes access to live sports broadcasts for 48 hours after they air. If you will miss kickoff, check the match tile in the app and plan your viewing within the available window. Do not assume that a league subscription keeps a permanent archive. For content actually broadcast by NRK, open Direkte in the NRK TV mobile app to find the programme guide. NRK describes rewinding a current live channel by up to three hours; availability of a completed programme is title-specific. If an event ended yesterday, look for its programme page rather than repeatedly rewinding the live channel. NRK’s viewer guide.
For US sports, check the day as well as the hour. On Friday 6 November 2026, an 8 p.m. Eastern start in New York is 2 a.m. Saturday in Oslo. A US listing for Friday can therefore correspond to a Saturday replay in your Norwegian guide.
Use the recordings for the USip connection. The account screens, US packages and app-store instructions have changed since filming.
Connect on the Mac, confirm its public IP, then open Sling in Safari. Test an included channel in that browser first.
An LG television needs its own network route. The Cyprus test used a router running USip and the Sling app on a compatible LG TV. A Mac-only connection does not configure the TV.

Connect the PC and open Sling in an up-to-date Edge or Chrome browser. Select the channel in your account’s live guide.
Confirm your package includes that channel. Free Sling Freestream and paid Orange or Blue have different lineups.

Connect the USip profile on the Android phone or tablet, then reopen Sling and select a live channel included in your package.
If Sling flags the connection or location, note the error code before changing packages. Sling says it can block VPN traffic.

Approve the VPN configuration on your iPhone or iPad, connect, then reopen Sling. Test live playback on that device before switching screens.
Before setting up an LG TV separately, check the model and whether the Sling app is available in its store. The phone connection does not install the TV app.

USip accepts PayPal subscriptions from Norway. The merchant on that receipt supplies the USip connection. Telenor and Viaplay handle the Norwegian television entitlement, and Sling manages its own packages. If a channel refuses to play, identify which of those accounts has the missing entitlement before paying again.
Sling lists PayPal as an Express Pay option and bills its monthly TV subscription separately. The availability of PayPal for USip in Norway does not show that Sling will accept a new Norwegian billing profile or support use outside its US service area. USip accepts PayPal subscriptions from Norway. Check the renewal date in the confirmation email. To avoid the first charge, cancel before the three-day trial ends. If you need a refund, contact USip Support within 14 days of the initial subscription.
