Sling has no Finnish service. USip recorded the American FX channel playing on Sling Blue on a Galaxy Tab in Finland. If you want an episode of The Bear or a particular NHL game, Finland already has local viewing options. The title, fixture and start time determine which subscription you need.

If the name “FX” brought you here, first check whether you want a channel or a series. Disney’s Helsinki release says the final season of The Bear arrived on Disney+ Finland on 26 June 2026. The eight episodes were released together. If you remember a flashback about Richie and Mikey, search Disney+ for Gary as a separate title. Hockey is a different search. Start with the two teams and match date. Under the NHL’s 2026–31 agreement, MTV carries about 35 games per season, mainly on Sunday evenings in Finland, on MTV Sub and MTV Katsomo. The league announced separate coverage through Viaplay and ESPN on Disney+. A game on US cable can therefore already be available with your Finnish subscription, but the three local services do not all carry the same fixtures. On 2 October 2026 at 17:45 UTC, the tester watched eight minutes of the live FX feed through Sling Blue in Finland. The setup was a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 running Android 16 / One UI 8, OpenVPN Connect 3.6 with a USip profile, and Sling app 10.7. The journal records picture playback and a US catalogue. That answers a narrow but useful question for an existing subscriber with the app installed. The test did not download Sling from Finland’s Play Store, register a new account, buy Blue with a Finnish wallet, or verify an entire game. For a different Android device, note which of those steps you actually need before following the video.
Use the recordings for the USip connection. The account screens, US packages and app-store instructions have changed since filming.
Connect the USip profile on the Android phone or tablet, then reopen Sling and select a live channel included in your package.
If Sling flags the connection or location, note the error code before changing packages. Sling says it can block VPN traffic.

Connect the PC and open Sling in an up-to-date Edge or Chrome browser. Select the channel in your account’s live guide.
Confirm your package includes that channel. Free Sling Freestream and paid Orange or Blue have different lineups.

Connect on the Mac, confirm its public IP, then open Sling in Safari. Test an included channel in that browser first.
An LG television needs its own network route. The Cyprus test used a router running USip and the Sling app on a compatible LG TV. A Mac-only connection does not configure the TV.

Approve the VPN configuration on your iPhone or iPad, connect, then reopen Sling. Test live playback on that device before switching screens.
Before setting up an LG TV separately, check the model and whether the Sling app is available in its store. The phone connection does not install the TV app.

An upgrade screen after Freestream has played points first to the paid package. A location error on both streams points first to geographic access. Sling says 11-601 can appear outside its US service area and that it blocks some VPN connections. Neither issue is diagnosed by opening sling.com alone. What Sling says about error 11-601.
If a live fixture alone is blacked out while other programmes on the same channel play, write down the game and broadcaster. Search those teams in the Finnish listings before changing your IP or package. If Sling is missing from the Finnish Play Store, changing the connection alone will not install it. The archive video is useful for the connection setup; its store and checkout screens date from 2021.
Finnish customers can use PayPal for USip. If you already have an eligible Sling account, open its billing page to see which plan is active before purchasing anything else. If your receipt names USip but FX asks you to upgrade, check the Sling account you signed into and which channels it includes. If a new Sling checkout rejects your payment, deal with that merchant using the true billing details on your account. The Finnish viewing test gives no evidence that a different ZIP code or a second USip subscription would fix the payment.
USip accepts PayPal subscriptions from Finland. Check the renewal date in the confirmation email. To avoid the first charge, cancel before the three-day trial ends. If you need a refund, contact USip Support within 14 days of the initial subscription.
