Sling has no Cyprus package. USip recorded the US TNT feed on Sling Orange through a router-connected LG TV in Cyprus. If the reason you want TNT is a Champions League fixture, UEFA lists CYTA as its Cyprus broadcaster. Check the match there before buying access to an American channel.

Use the team names, tournament and match date. In UEFA’s 2026/27 list of broadcast partners, Cyprus is assigned to CYTA. UEFA’s country list and the Cytavision live sports guide let you identify the local transmission even when an English-language preview names another broadcaster. If the match is all you want, the American studio schedule adds little.
A local listing can still leave two questions: can you watch on the device you own, and can you replay it tomorrow? Open the Cyta channel catalogue, find the channel number from the fixture and read across the package, TV App, CytavisionGo and Catch Up columns. A sports channel appearing in the guide does not automatically put it into your package. Cyta offers catch-up on selected programmes for up to seven days. Check the actual fixture before counting on that window.

On 7 October 2026 at 16:35 UTC, a tester in Cyprus played the live TNT feed in Sling Orange for 7.5 minutes. The television was an LG OLED55C3 running webOS 23 with the Sling app already installed. A GL.iNet Flint 2 on firmware 4.8 ran the USip OpenVPN profile. Full TV and router record.
The distinction matters if your phone works but your television does not. In this test the router supplied the US connection. Signing into USip on a phone would not have changed the LG’s connection. The entry covers one live channel on one setup. It does not say the app can be installed from the Cyprus LG store, that every game is included or that Smart DNS produced the same result.
For the local route, check Cyta’s supported TV models. Cyta lists FHD or UHD LG sets from the last five TV model years and directs users to the LG Content Store. Existing Cyta customers can apply through My Cyta; once the TV app order is activated, the service credentials are sent to the registered email. For the Sling route, leave the television’s store and household settings alone while identifying the failure. On the TV, confirm the name of the network it joined. On a laptop on that same router, check the connection and try a free Sling channel if appropriate. If the laptop plays but the Sling app is absent on the LG, it is an app-availability question. Use the recordings for the USip connection. The account screens, US packages and app-store instructions have changed since filming.
Connect the PC and open Sling in an up-to-date Edge or Chrome browser. Select the channel in your account’s live guide.
Confirm your package includes that channel. Free Sling Freestream and paid Orange or Blue have different lineups.

Connect on the Mac, confirm its public IP, then open Sling in Safari. Test an included channel in that browser first.
An LG television needs its own network route. The Cyprus test used a router running USip and the Sling app on a compatible LG TV. A Mac-only connection does not configure the TV.

Connect the USip profile on the Android phone or tablet, then reopen Sling and select a live channel included in your package.
If Sling flags the connection or location, note the error code before changing packages. Sling says it can block VPN traffic.

Approve the VPN configuration on your iPhone or iPad, connect, then reopen Sling. Test live playback on that device before switching screens.
Before setting up an LG TV separately, check the model and whether the Sling app is available in its store. The phone connection does not install the TV app.

USip accepts PayPal subscriptions from Cyprus. Sling manages its own paid TV plan and offers PayPal as a separate Express Pay method. Review the merchant on the receipt. An approval for a USip subscription does not buy TNT or Cytavision sports. Sling payment rules.
If trying the local option, Cyta says eligible new TV App customers can activate its three-month Trial Pack. Unless cancelled, this converts to the Value Pack. Check the channel matrix before activation: the Trial Pack is a named package and does not give access to every sports channel. If you only need one fixture, consult its specific offer first. USip accepts PayPal subscriptions from Cyprus. Check the renewal date in the confirmation email. To avoid the first charge, cancel before the three-day trial ends. If you need a refund, contact USip Support within 14 days of the initial subscription.

The documented Cyprus test put OpenVPN on a GL.iNet router. The LG ran the Sling app and connected through that router. Other configurations were not tested in that record.
Cyta offers a dedicated TV App for compatible smart TVs. Use its model list for LG. Look up the channel’s CytavisionGo availability separately when using a phone, tablet or computer.
