The UK has its own Pluto TV. Ireland does not.
How to Watch Pluto TV in Ireland
Short answer: Pluto TV has no Irish service. Its app was missing from the Irish App Store when we looked on 6 October 2026, and Ireland is not on the list of countries where Pluto TV has opened a local version, although the UK next door has had its own since 2018. The U.S. service describes itself in four words, “Drop in. It’s free.”, yet its help pages offer apps only for devices “available in your region”.
Pluto TV belongs to Paramount, and a good deal of Paramount already reaches Ireland by other routes. Paramount+, the company’s own streaming service, launched here on 22 June 2022, and Sky’s Irish site says Sky Cinema includes it. Virgin Media’s Irish channel list carries Comedy Central, MTV and Nickelodeon. The Irish broadcasters stream their channels through RTÉ Player, Virgin Media Play and TG4 Player, and Samsung names Ireland among the countries where its TVs offer Samsung TV Plus. None of these is Pluto TV’s American channel guide.
The first check is easy because Pluto TV asks so little. Its help centre says “You can watch Pluto TV on the Web, no download needed.” Watching needs no account either, so one private window on a laptop, open at pluto.tv, tells you more than any app store will. Below: Pluto TV’s own rules, what Irish lines look like to it, a ten-minute test, and why the Irish App Store sends you back to the browser.
