Adverts instead of a subscription
Tubi’s help centre puts its whole model in one line: “Tubi is free, but it’s supported by advertising.” There is no plan to choose and nothing to cancel; adverts are simply part of watching.
Short answer: Tubi does not run a service for Israel. Its help page for viewers abroad opens with “If you’re located outside the United States, you can watch Tubi on the following devices:” and goes on to name Canada, Australia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama and the United Kingdom. Israel is not on that list, and we found no Tubi launch here, past or present. When we looked on 11 October 2026, the Tubi app was not in the Israeli App Store either.
For free, legal television at home, Israel’s own broadcasters come first. Kan streams Kan 11 live and on demand at kan.org.il and in its apps, and says its digital services carry no adverts. Keshet 12 puts its live channel and a large catch-up library in the free, ad-supported 12+ app, and Reshet 13 streams its live broadcasts in its 13+ app. All of it is Israeli television on Israeli hours; none of it is Tubi’s American catalogue.
If it is the U.S. Tubi you are after, the first check takes about ten minutes and no account. On a laptop, connect USip’s residential U.S. IP in the OpenVPN Connect app, open tubitv.com in a private window and play one free title as a guest. Tubi then decides whether to accept the connection, and it can refuse any address, USip’s included.

Here is what the services’ own pages, and Apple’s and Samsung’s Israeli store pages, showed on 11 October 2026, including any sign-in each one asks for.
| Service | What it is | How to watch, and any sign-in |
|---|---|---|
| Kan 11 and Kan’s other channels | Israel’s public broadcaster. Its Kan 11 page describes the series and programmes there as free to watch, and Kan’s FAQ says no adverts or sponsorships run on its digital services. | kan.org.il in a browser, or the Kan app for iOS and Android phones, which carries video and live broadcasts. The site invites you to sign in for personalised content. |
| Kan BOX | Kan’s app for smart TVs and streamers: live channels, news, series, children’s programmes and content in Arabic. | Android TV on Android 9 or later, Samsung and LG sets from 2018, Hisense models sold in Israel and Apple TV, says Kan’s FAQ, adding: “You do not have to register” (our translation). |
| Keshet 12 in the 12+ app | Keshet’s live channel and its on-demand library. Its description in Apple’s Israeli App Store promises free streaming in high quality, and the listing says the app contains advertising. | The 12+ app on phones, tablets, streamers and smart TVs, plus Keshet’s website, mako.co.il. The app offers quick registration by email; we could not confirm whether any free programme requires it. Keshet’s 12+ rules also describe an optional subscription. |
| Reshet 13 in the 13+ app | Channel 13’s live broadcasts and selected clips from its programmes, published by Reshet Media. | The Reshet 13+ app, listed as free in Apple’s App Store and marked as containing advertising; Reshet’s website is 13tv.co.il. The listing mentions no sign-in, and we could not confirm what the website asks for. |
| Samsung TV Plus | Samsung’s free, ad-supported channel app. Samsung’s Israeli support site has a Hebrew guide to it, last updated on 26 May 2025. | Built into Samsung TVs, projectors and smart monitors from 2019 onwards. The guide lists no channels for Israel, and we could not confirm what the Israeli line-up holds. |
| Pluto TV | Paramount’s free channel service, a different company’s product from Tubi. | Not offered here: when USip researched its Pluto TV guide for Israel on 6 October 2026, Pluto TV had no Israeli edition. |
Read the table as two halves. Israeli programmes are well served, free and on local hours. What none of these services offers is Tubi’s U.S. catalogue of films and series, licensed for American viewers, and that second half is the only part a U.S. home address can affect.
Rights travel badly in both directions. Kan’s FAQ says some of its programmes can be watched only in Israel because of rights agreements, and Keshet’s 12+ rules say some content is unavailable to users abroad for copyright reasons.
Catalogues, apps and line-ups change without notice; everything here was checked on 11 October 2026. Where a row says we could not confirm something, look at the service itself before relying on it. Pay TV from yes, HOT, Partner and Cellcom is outside this table.

Tubi has published nothing about Israel. What we can do is set out what the first-party sources showed on 11 October 2026, and say plainly where the trail stops.
| What we checked | What we found | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Tubi’s list of places outside the U.S. | Ten places, from Canada to the United Kingdom. Israel is not one of them. | Tubi Help Center, supported devices outside of the US |
| The Israeli App Store | No Tubi app on 11 October 2026. The stores for the U.S., the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Puerto Rico did list it. | Apple’s App Store, looked up one country at a time |
| A Tubi launch in Israel, past or present | None found. Our search turned up no Tubi announcement and no Israeli report of a launch. | Our own web search on 11 October 2026 |
| How Tubi licenses its titles | Territory by territory. In August 2026 Tubi announced NBCUniversal and Sony deals for more than 450 library titles “across Australia, Canada and the U.K.” | Tubi press release, 26 August 2026 |
| One catalogue or several | Several. Tubi UK has grown to over 75,000 movies and TV episodes since its July 2024 launch, while Tubi puts its library at nearly 400,000. | Tubi press releases, 22 July and 23 September 2026 |
| How Israeli broadcasters handle rights | The same way, seen from the other side: Kan and Keshet both keep some programmes for viewers in Israel, citing rights agreements or copyright. | Kan’s FAQ; Keshet’s 12+ rules on mako.co.il |
Tubi has not said why Israel is missing, and we will not guess at a reason it has not given. The sources do show that its rights are agreed territory by territory, and that its UK launch came with a catalogue of its own. Israel has had neither a launch nor a catalogue.
That is also why Tubi UK, a separate and much smaller collection, tells you little about the American service. Tubi announced its Latin American and UK launches in press releases, so its press pages are the place to watch for any news about Israel.

For readers in Israel who know the name but not the service, here are the essentials, each with its source and date.
Tubi’s help centre puts its whole model in one line: “Tubi is free, but it’s supported by advertising.” There is no plan to choose and nothing to cancel; adverts are simply part of watching.
Asked whether a newcomer must set up multiple accounts, Tubi answers: “No. You can still continue watching as a guest or register a single Tubi Account.” That is why the check on this page uses guest viewing.
For anyone who does register, Tubi sets an age rule: “Tubi Accounts are for individuals who meet local age requirements, such as 13 or older in the United States.” Kids Mode, according to the same help article, works without signing in.
Fox Corporation announced on 17 March 2020 that it would acquire Tubi. Tubi’s press releases now describe it as part of Tubi Media Group, a division of Fox Corporation.
On 6 August 2026 Tubi reported 110 million monthly active users, up 14% year over year, and more than 375,000 movies and TV episodes, including over 400 Tubi Originals. Nielsen put Tubi at 2.3% of all U.S. TV viewing in April 2026.
In October 2022 Tubi said it had over 200 live sports, entertainment and news channels. It now carries the NFL Channel, “the NFL's 24/7 free, always-on channel”, and will stream a Thanksgiving game on 26 November 2026. The release does not say whether the game can be watched outside the U.S.
Tubi’s September 2026 release puts its library at nearly 400,000 movies and TV episodes. None of these figures describes a service for Israel.

Tubi’s live channels and events follow U.S. schedules, while its on-demand titles start whenever you press play. Israel is usually seven hours ahead of New York. The two countries change their clocks on different days, so twice in this period the gap shrinks to six hours.
| U.S. Eastern time | Time in Israel | When |
|---|---|---|
| 8 p.m., U.S. prime time | 3 a.m. the next day | Most nights |
| 8 p.m., U.S. prime time | 2 a.m. the next day | Israeli dates 25 October to 1 November 2026, and 15 to 25 March 2027 |
| Noon | 7 p.m. the same day | Outside those two short spells |
| 9 a.m. | 4 p.m. the same day | Outside those two short spells |
| 4:30 p.m. on Thursday 26 November 2026, the Thanksgiving game | 11:30 p.m. on Thursday 26 November | Both countries on winter time |
Four dates explain the odd rows. Sunday 25 October 2026: Israel’s clocks go back an hour at 2 a.m. Sunday 1 November 2026: American clocks go back, at 8 a.m. Israeli time. Sunday 14 March 2027: American clocks go forward, at 9 a.m. Israeli time. Friday 26 March 2027: Israel’s clocks go forward at 2 a.m. Between the first pair and between the second pair, New York sits six hours behind Israel.
For live American television, the practical window is the U.S. morning and early afternoon, which lands in the Israeli afternoon and evening. American prime time arrives in the small hours, so the on-demand library, which has no clock at all, suits an Israeli evening best.
We worked these times out with Python’s zoneinfo module (IANA database 2026c, zones Asia/Jerusalem and America/New_York). They are clock conversions, not a Tubi programme guide.

A streaming service works out where you are from the public IP address your connection presents. Every Israeli line, fixed or mobile, presents an Israeli one. The newest official figures we found show who runs those lines.
| Connection | Who runs it (official figures) | What Tubi sees |
|---|---|---|
| Fibre to the home | Bezeq’s fibre passes about 2.9 million homes, IBC’s about 2.4 million and Partner’s about 1.1 million, as of 31 December 2025 (Ministry of Communications, economic opinion of 23 February 2026) | An Israeli address |
| Home internet over fibre or copper | The same opinion’s market-share table for 31 December 2025 names Bezeq, HOT, Partner and Cellcom as the large retailers; the public copy blacks out their shares, and smaller companies hold about 10% of the market | An Israeli address, whichever company you signed up with |
| Mobile data and hotspots | Three mobile networks, as the State Comptroller described them in July 2024: Pelephone’s own, PHI (Partner and HOT Mobile) and CMG (Cellcom and Wecom Mobile), with smaller brands running on them | An Israeli address, on a phone or a mobile router alike |
| Work, campus or hotel Wi-Fi | The organisation that runs the network | An Israeli address, behind a firewall that may stop OpenVPN Connect |
| Any of these, with USip connected | USip’s residential U.S. IP, carried over your own line | One U.S. home address, which Tubi can still refuse |
Two things are worth knowing. A line can give your device two addresses at once: the familiar IPv4 kind and the newer IPv6 kind. If the U.S. connection covers only IPv4, a browser may still reach Tubi over IPv6, and that address belongs to your Israeli provider, which is why step 1 of the check reads both lines. And a firewall at work or on campus can stop the USip connection before Tubi sees anything, so if the check fails there, repeat it once on mobile data or your home line.
The fibre figures count homes a network reaches, whether or not anyone there has signed up, and the Ministry’s public copy blacks out the market shares. The mobile picture comes from the State Comptroller’s report of July 2024, the newest official description of the networks we found.

Many kinds of connection can make an address checker say United States. What a streaming service weighs is who the address belongs to, so here are the usual options, described as fairly as we can.
| Option | What Tubi sees | The catch | Best kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your Israeli line | Your provider’s Israeli address | Israel is not among the places Tubi lists, so this route leads nowhere | Kan, 12+, 13+ and other Israeli services |
| Free VPN apps | Server addresses shared by many users at once | Crowded at peak times, and a shared server address is easy for a service to recognise | Very little that you would want to measure |
| Data-centre VPN | An address registered to a hosting company | It may read as American, but a data-centre address is easy for a service to recognise | Privacy on café or airport Wi-Fi |
| USip residential U.S. IP | One address from a U.S. internet provider’s consumer network | Tubi still decides, and it can refuse any connection, USip’s included | One steady U.S. home address for the check |
When a free title plays in a fresh private window, the address side is settled.
If Tubi says no, note its exact words, reconnect once, try once more, then send the wording to USip support.
3-day free trial · 14-day money-back · Tubi itself is free and separate
This check runs in a laptop browser on purpose. There is no app store in the way and, thanks to guest viewing, no account either, so whatever happens tells you about the connection.
On a Windows or Mac laptop, set up OpenVPN Connect with the USip profile using the Windows guide or the Mac guide, and connect. Open any IP address checker. The IPv4 address must be in the U.S. If an IPv6 line appears, it must not name Bezeq, HOT, Partner, Cellcom or another Israeli provider; if it does, your Israeli address is still visible.
Close any open Tubi tabs, start a new private or incognito window and go to tubitv.com. A private window carries no cookies from earlier visits, so Tubi judges the connection from scratch. Stay signed out.
Start any film or episode and let it run for about a minute, adverts included. No account is needed; on accounts, Tubi’s help centre says: “No. You can still continue watching as a guest or register a single Tubi Account.”
If the title plays, the connection side is settled for that laptop on that day. If Tubi shows an error or a message about your location instead, write the wording down exactly, reconnect USip once and try one more time in a new private window. If the same message comes back, send that wording to USip support rather than retrying again and again.
USip also publishes a dated log of its own checks: USip’s published checks. A check made somewhere else on another day says nothing certain about your laptop in Israel tonight, so treat the four steps above as the evidence that counts.

USip recorded these four videos in November 2022, and Tubi’s screens have changed since. The USip connection steps they show still apply. The two phone videos also switch the App Store or Google Play country to the U.S. using invented American details; that part is out of date and should be left out.

The Windows video sets up the USip connection and then opens tubitv.com in a browser. That is still the best first step from Israel, because no app store is involved. Use Chrome, Edge or Firefox in a private window, and if an employer’s VPN client runs on the laptop, use a personal computer instead: with two tunnels active, the result cannot be read.
Step by step: the Windows setup guide.

The Mac video follows the same order: connect, confirm the address, open tubitv.com. If iCloud Private Relay is on, Safari’s browsing goes out through Apple’s relay servers, so Tubi may see a relay address rather than the USip one; turn it off for the check, or use Chrome or Firefox. If your Israeli line hands the Mac an IPv6 address, read both lines on the address checker.
Step by step: the Mac setup guide.

The Android video connects USip and then moves the Google Play country to the U.S. to install the Tubi app. That second part is out of date. Google Play Help says “To set up a new country or region, you must be in that location”, and that you “must wait at least 90 days” between changes.
We did not check Google Play country by country, so we make no claim about the Israeli Play store. If the app is already on your phone, start OpenVPN Connect before opening Tubi, and let OpenVPN Connect run without battery restrictions so Android does not close it partway through a film.
Step by step: the Android setup guide.

The iPhone video changes the App Store country with invented U.S. details. Leave that part out. When we looked on 11 October 2026, the Tubi app was not in the Israeli App Store, and the store you see follows your Apple Account’s country, not your connection.
Apple lists the conditions for moving an Apple Account to another country or region on its own support page; read them before deciding anything. The USip connection steps in the video still apply, but a laptop gives the clearer first result.
Step by step: the iOS setup guide.
Televisions, streaming sticks and games consoles cannot run OpenVPN Connect, so USip connects them through Smart DNS. Register your home’s public IP address with USip first, then enter the DNS details in the device’s network settings, or once on the router for every device at home. If Bezeq, HOT or whoever runs your line later gives you a new public address, register the new one. The Smart DNS guide has the steps.
Smart DNS changes what Tubi sees from the TV. It does not add the Tubi app to a television whose app store lacks it in Israel, and we could not confirm what Samsung, LG or other TV app stores list here.

One residential U.S. IP — an ordinary consumer address on a U.S. ISP, not a server range. USip and Tubi are separate services: the plans include the connection only — not a Tubi account, an app-store region or the rights to any channel, series or film.
Separate services: these prices are for the USip residential U.S. IP service only. Tubi is a separate service, free with ads; a Tubi account and access to any particular channel, series or film are not part of a USip plan.
Phones and TVs get their apps from stores tied to a country. That is why this guide puts the laptop browser first and the apps last.
When we looked on 11 October 2026, the Tubi app was not in the Israeli App Store. Apple’s U.S. store lists it as “Tubi: Movies & Live TV” from Tubi, Inc.
The App Store you see follows your Apple Account’s country or region, not the network you are on. Apple’s support page lists what must be settled before an account can move.
We make no claim either way about Google Play in Israel. Its help page ties a new Play country to being there, with at least 90 days between changes.
tubitv.com in a laptop browser needs no store at all. OpenVPN Connect is the only thing to install, so whatever happens in the check comes down to the connection and Tubi’s decision.
Tubi’s U.S. device list includes Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV (4th generation), Android TV, Chromecast, Samsung, LG, Vizio, Hisense, PlayStation, Xbox and the web at tubitv.com. It describes the U.S. service, not what an Israeli store offers.
Samsung’s Israeli site has pages for the Kan and 12+ TV apps, and Kan lists Samsung, LG, Hisense, Android TV and Apple TV for Kan BOX. We could not confirm whether any TV app store in Israel lists Tubi, and a TV needs Smart DNS rather than OpenVPN Connect.
So the order is simple: a browser on a laptop first, the phone once a laptop has given a clear result, and the television last.

Before signing up for anything, many readers want to know whether this is allowed. Official Israeli sources take us part of the way, and we say where they stop.
Our search of Israeli sources turned up no law that prohibits VPN software in itself. That is a report of our search, not a legal opinion.
An urgent alert from the Israel National Cyber Directorate, dated 28 February 2026, asks organisations to secure remote-access equipment such as VPN and ZTNA systems. It is security advice for networks and does not mention television.
Offices, universities and hotels may forbid tunnels on the Wi-Fi they run, whatever the law allows. If the USip connection fails on such a network, that says something about its settings and nothing about Tubi.
We are not lawyers, and nothing here is legal advice. Laws and the way they are read can change. If the answer matters for your job or your situation, ask someone qualified in Israeli law.
We could not open the Knesset’s own legal pages while preparing this guide, so we leave Israeli rules on blocking websites out of it rather than summarise them second-hand.
What we can say plainly is that Tubi decides which connections it accepts and can refuse any of them, USip’s included. Nothing on this page means Tubi approves of USip, and nothing here promises that a title will play.

Answers built from Tubi’s, Apple’s and Google’s own pages, Israeli broadcasters’ sites and official Israeli documents. Where the honest answer depends on something, we say what.
No. Tubi’s help page for viewers abroad opens with “If you’re located outside the United States, you can watch Tubi on the following devices:” and lists Canada, Australia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama and the United Kingdom. Israel is not among them. When we looked on 11 October 2026, the Tubi app was not in the Israeli App Store, and we found no Tubi launch in Israel.
Tubi has not said. Apple runs a separate App Store for each country, and when we looked on 11 October 2026 the app, “Tubi: Movies & Live TV” from Tubi, Inc, was listed in seven of them, including the U.S. and the UK, but not in Israel’s. Your App Store follows your Apple Account’s country, not your connection, and Apple sets its own conditions for changing that country.
We found no sign that it did. Our web search on 11 October 2026 turned up no Tubi announcement and no Israeli news report of a launch here, then or now. Tubi announced its launches elsewhere in press releases, Latin America in August 2022 and the UK in July 2024, so its press pages are the place to watch for any news about Israel.
Yes, with adverts. Tubi’s help centre says: “Tubi is free, but it’s supported by advertising.” There is no plan to choose. That describes the U.S. service and the places Tubi lists, and Israel is not one of them. USip is a separate service with plans of its own, and a USip plan includes nothing from Tubi.
Not to start watching. Asked whether a newcomer must set up multiple accounts, Tubi replies: “No. You can still continue watching as a guest or register a single Tubi Account.” Accounts carry an age rule: “Tubi Accounts are for individuals who meet local age requirements, such as 13 or older in the United States.” Kids Mode works without signing in. For the ten-minute check on this page, stay signed out and watch as a guest.
Possibly, and only Tubi decides. With USip connected, Tubi sees an ordinary U.S. consumer address instead of your Israeli one. Tubi can still refuse any connection, USip’s included, and nothing here means Tubi approves of USip. The laptop check takes about ten minutes: if a free title plays as a guest, the connection side is settled; if Tubi shows a message, note its wording, reconnect once, try once more, then send the wording to USip support.
No. USip supplies one residential U.S. IP connection and nothing else: no Tubi account, no app-store country and no rights to any film, series or channel. Tubi is a separate, free service owned by Fox. You do not need a Tubi account to watch as a guest, and if you register one, that is between you and Tubi.
No. They are separate services with separate catalogues. Tubi launched in the UK in July 2024 and says Tubi UK now has over 75,000 movies and TV episodes, while Tubi puts its library at nearly 400,000. Tubi licenses titles territory by territory: its August 2026 deals with NBCUniversal and Sony covered Australia, Canada and the UK. A residential U.S. IP concerns the U.S. service only.
Only after a laptop check, and with limits. Televisions, sticks and consoles cannot run OpenVPN Connect, so USip connects them with Smart DNS: register your home’s public IP address with USip and enter the DNS details on the TV or the router. Smart DNS changes what Tubi sees from the TV, but it does not add the Tubi app to a TV store that lacks it, and we could not confirm what Israeli TV stores offer.
Late. For most of the year, 8 p.m. in New York is 3 a.m. the next morning in Israel. In the early hours of 25 October to 1 November 2026, and of 15 to 25 March 2027, it arrives at 2 a.m. instead, because the two countries change their clocks on different days. U.S. mornings fall in the Israeli afternoon, and on-demand titles have no clock at all.
We cannot say. Tubi’s release of 23 September 2026 says it will stream FOX Sports’ Dallas Cowboys v Philadelphia Eagles game on Thursday 26 November 2026 at 4:30 p.m. ET, which is 11:30 p.m. in Israel. The release does not say whether the game can be watched outside the U.S. A past example: Tubi streamed Super Bowl LIX free in the U.S. on 9 February 2025, live only, and said a free Tubi account was needed to watch it.
Our search found no Israeli law that bans VPN software in itself. Israel’s National Cyber Directorate treats VPNs as ordinary equipment that organisations must keep secure, as in its urgent alert of 28 February 2026. We are not lawyers, and this is not legal advice. Employers, universities and hotels can set their own rules on their networks, and Tubi decides which connections it accepts.

The hub explains Tubi outside the U.S. in general. Each country guide starts from that country’s own free services, clocks and rules; Singapore’s is the only other one outside Europe.
The main pages behind this guide, each read on 11 October 2026 unless a date is given. Israeli sources are in Hebrew, and the translations are ours. Also used: Fox Corporation’s announcement of 17 March 2020 (filed with the SEC); Tubi’s press releases of 11 August 2022 (Latin America), 10 October 2022 (live channels) and 2 July 2024 (UK launch); Tubi’s help article on Super Bowl LIX; Kan’s Kan 11 page; Keshet’s 12+ viewing rules on mako.co.il; Reshet’s 13+ listing in Apple’s App Store; Samsung Israel’s pages on TV Plus and the Kan and 12+ TV apps; the State Comptroller’s July 2024 report on cellular infrastructure; USip’s Pluto TV guide for Israel (6 October 2026); and the IANA time-zone database, version 2026c.
For Israeli programmes, Kan, 12+ and 13+ are free, legal and on Israeli hours, and you need nothing from this guide to watch them. Tubi is another matter: Israel is not among the places Tubi lists, its app was not in the Israeli App Store on 11 October 2026, and we found no Israeli launch.
If the U.S. catalogue is what you want, the honest check is short: USip connected on a laptop, both address lines read, a private window and one free title as a guest. If Tubi refuses, keep its exact wording, reconnect once, try once more and send the wording to USip support.
USip supplies the residential U.S. IP connection only. Tubi is a separate, free service owned by Fox; its catalogue, adverts, accounts and apps are its own, and so is the decision to accept or refuse any connection, USip’s included.
