How to Reach U.S. Hulu from Colombia
Most people arriving here have a Disney+ Colombia subscription already and are asking why the Hulu tile inside it does not hold the shows they read about. Hulu sells in one country. Its help pages put it plainly: the service is available in the United States only.
The sequence in Colombia went: Disney+ arrived on 17 November 2020; Star+ launched alongside it in August 2021 as a separate app for general entertainment and sport; the two merged into a single Disney+ app on 26 June 2024. The word ‘Hulu’ started appearing in Disney+ outside the United States on 8 October 2025, when Disney renamed the Star hub.
So the Hulu tile you can see in Disney+ in Colombia today is the old Star+ shelf under a new label. The library under that name is a local one. Comparing it title by title with U.S. Hulu will show you far more gaps than matches.

So the practical question in Colombia is not how to unblock something. It is whether you can legitimately hold a U.S. account and give it a U.S. residential connection. Be aware that Hulu’s terms of use include language about not disguising your location. Read it and decide for yourself — we would rather say this than sell around it.
Address type is the variable, not country
What a service checks is not just where an address is registered but what kind of address it is. Home connections and datacentre blocks sit in different buckets.
The tell is the wording. “You appear to be using an anonymous proxy tool”, reference P-EDU101, means the location layer, not the video. Seen from Colombia, that notice means the location layer answered — not that the title is unavailable.
The product here is a residential U.S. IP connection. It answers the location question and leaves every other question untouched. It does not include a Hulu subscription, open a U.S. Hulu account, supply a U.S. card or sell gift cards. Speed is mostly your own line’s business. Paying for Hulu from Colombia: what is and is not possible
Three layers get run together in most write-ups on this subject: where you are, what account you hold, and how it is paid. They fail separately and they are fixed separately.
Hulu’s billing page lists U.S.-based credit and debit cards, PayPal and gift cards. A card issued in another country is not on that list. Hulu gift cards come from U.S. retailers and are redeemed on hulu.com/gift. That redemption page checks location the same way the rest of the site does.
