How to Watch US Paramount+ Outside the US
Paramount+ is available in several countries, but its local subscriptions and US edition are not interchangeable. Paramount+ says a subscription purchased in the US can be used only in the US and its listed territories. This guide covers the US edition, account checks and USip residential US IP service setup.

Paramount+ Account and Travel Rules
A US-bought subscription is not automatically converted into a local international catalogue when you travel. Paramount+ applies different rules to US and non-US accounts.
- US account: access is limited to the US and listed territories.
- Eligible non-US account: destination-service access may be available in participating countries, excluding the US.
- Verified EEA resident: separate rules apply during temporary travel within the EEA.

Check your Paramount+ account market, active plan, billing or activation route and the title you intend to watch.

Connect USip on Your Device

Use a supported browser or app and sign in to your own Paramount+ account. If one browser fails, compare its extensions, cached data and exact message.

Record the device, title and result. If another included title plays, use that as a comparison; one successful playback does not rule out every connection or account issue.
TVs, streaming boxes and consoles use Smart DNS. Register your home network’s public IP from that network, then configure DNS on the device or router.

When an included on-demand title plays in a clean browser, record that success as a baseline for comparing the failing title or device.
It cannot change
- Whether you have a Paramount+ subscription, which plan, or who bills it
- Your account country, billing country, app-store country, ZIP code or profiles
- Any licence, release window, live-sports entitlement, blackout or event territory
- Paramount+’s terms, which ask you not to use a VPN or conceal your location — or Paramount+’s ability to block any address
- The Paramount+ app’s version, store region, downloads or saved state on a device
Don’t cycle addresses to solve an account, plan or rights problem. A successful ordinary-title test is a useful clue, but it does not rule out every network, device or app issue.

Which US connection is practical for Paramount+
Address type is one part of a connection. Neither a datacentre IP nor a residential IP guarantees Paramount+ playback; the account, title and current service checks also matter.

Mobile and TV devices can add extra signals such as app-store region, GPS, cached app data, device-account country, and router configuration.

Smart DNS does not create a VPN connection, so an ordinary IP-check website may still show your real country. Paramount+ has several places to fail and they look alike from the outside.

Try a fresh supported browser session. If only one browser fails, compare its extensions, cached data and exact error.

Check the subscription market, active plan and any required bundle activation. A successful login alone does not confirm access to every title or feature.

Try an on-demand title included in your plan. If it plays, record the device and title as a comparison; that result does not rule out every other connection or account issue.

If ordinary playback works but one title or event fails, check its licence, release window, plan entitlement and blackout rules. Also record the exact error: one successful title does not rule out every network or app issue.

Check the app version, store availability and device activation. Reinstallation alone may not resolve an account or regional availability issue.

Does a US Paramount+ subscription work when travelling abroad?
Paramount+’s travel guidance says a subscription purchased in the US is usable only in the US and its listed territories. Eligible non-US accounts have different destination-service rules; US access is excluded from that cross-border arrangement.
Can a local Paramount+ account access the US catalogue?
Not automatically. The subscription market, catalogue and travel rules are separate. A US IP address does not change the market where your subscription was purchased.
Where is SHOWTIME content on Paramount+?
