Hulu and Israel: What Is Sold Where
Israel has heavy two-way traffic with the United States, so a large share of the people reading this are keeping a U.S. account alive rather than starting one. You cannot buy Hulu anywhere but the United States. There is no international edition, no regional pricing and no local reseller.
Disney+ launched in Israel on 16 June 2022, at the end of the run that took it to 60 markets across Europe, the Middle East and Africa — Disney+ available in 60 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Disney, June 2022). The word ‘Hulu’ started appearing in Disney+ outside the United States on 8 October 2025, when Disney renamed the Star hub.
Behind the tile is a regional catalogue. The name is shared with the U.S. service; the contents largely are not. Alongside it, yes+, Cellcom tv and Partner TV are what most households here already pay for.

Two connections can both say ‘United States’ and behave completely differently: one comes from a server farm, the other from a residential line. Hulu can tell them apart.
When Hulu decides the connection is wrong, it says so: “Error playing this video. You appear to be using an anonymous proxy tool.” The code attached to it is P-EDU101. Nothing else on the page will tell you this; the error message is the diagnostic.

The part a connection cannot fix
Before anything else: a connection question, an account question and a billing question are not the same question.
Hulu takes “U.S. based credit or debit cards” — American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover — plus PayPal and its own gift cards. A gift card has to be bought in the U.S. and redeemed on a hulu.com page, so it does not remove the location question — it just moves it.
A U.S. account you are already paying for
