How to Watch Pluto TV in the Netherlands

Short answer: Pluto TV runs no Dutch service. Apple’s App Store carries the Pluto TV app in Germany, France, the UK and Denmark, among others, but the Dutch store had no Pluto TV page when we looked on 6 October 2026. The service this guide is about is Pluto TV’s American one: free, funded by advertising, and watchable without an account.

Pluto TV belongs to Paramount, and much of what Paramount makes is on Dutch screens already: Comedy Central, MTV and Nickelodeon have Dutch channels — numbers 11, 13 and 12 on KPN’s Digitenne aerial service — and SkyShowtime, launched here in October 2022 as a joint venture of Comcast and Paramount, carries Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Yellowstone and Landman. Free television with ads is nothing new either: Samsung TV Plus and LG Channels sit on smart TVs, and NPO Start and KIJK open in a browser.

If it is the American line-up you want, the first check takes ten minutes and no account: one laptop, a U.S. connection, and pluto.tv in a private window. Pluto TV says it blocks every VPN or proxy it detects, so the verdict is always Pluto’s to give. Below: what Dutch screens already offer, what a residential U.S. IP changes and what it leaves alone, and how to read Pluto’s answer.

Paramount brands and free TV already on Dutch screens

Paramount’s brands are already part of Dutch television — as Dutch channels on aerial, cable and fibre TV, and through SkyShowtime. On 6 October 2026 we read KPN’s Digitenne channel list, SkyShowtime’s Dutch site and the Dutch pages of four free services. This is what overlaps with Pluto TV.

NameWhere it is in the NetherlandsWhat Pluto TV’s U.S. service adds
Star Trek, Yellowstone, Landman, Tulsa KingSkyShowtime, launched here on 25 October 2022 as a joint venture of Comcast and Paramount. Its Dutch pages list Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4 and name Paramount+ and Paramount Pictures among the studios behind the catalogue. It is not free.A Star Trek channel: it was on Pluto TV’s U.S. line-up in USip’s log entry from Denmark on 17 September 2026. That is one dated sighting, and line-ups move.
Comedy Central, MTV, NickelodeonDutch channels with Dutch schedules — channels 11, 13 and 12 on KPN’s Digitenne list. Other providers number them differently.Nothing we can name. Our sources show no specific Pluto TV channel for these brands, so we promise none.
Samsung TV PlusFree live and on-demand channels on Samsung smart TVs and Galaxy phones; Samsung’s Dutch page says no Samsung account is needed.American channels on American time; Samsung’s Dutch line-up is its own.
LG ChannelsA free streaming service with hundreds of live and on-demand channels, on LG smart TVs from 2016 onwards and on LG webOS monitors. The same idea, with a U.S. line-up instead of a European one.
NPO StartThe public broadcaster’s player. NPO says every NPO broadcast can be watched back free, with or without an account.A different job altogether: NPO Start is Dutch public television on catch-up.
KIJKTalpa’s free video-on-demand platform for SBS6, Net5, Veronica and SBS9.A different job again: Dutch commercial television on catch-up.

Read the table from the top. If Star Trek or a Paramount comedy is what you are after, the Dutch route is the simple one, with nothing to change on your connection. If free television is the point, Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, NPO Start and KIJK already provide it.

Pluto TV’s American service earns its place only for what those do not carry: the U.S. channel grid, on U.S. time, and the U.S. on-demand catalogue. That is a narrow reason, and the only one this page tries to serve.

Line-ups change on every side of this table. KPN, SkyShowtime, Samsung, LG and Pluto TV all move channels and titles when they choose, so treat each row as a reading taken on 6 October 2026 and check the guide on your own television before you decide anything.

Pluto TV’s own wording, quoted

Six lines from Pluto TV that decide what happens on a Dutch connection

Pluto TV’s help centre is brief and plain on the points that matter here. We quote it exactly and add what each line means for someone watching from Utrecht, Groningen or Maastricht.

The notice

A message about VPNs and proxies

Pluto TV explains its notice like this: “we’ve detected that your device is connected to a VPN, proxy service, or other software” that may route your traffic outside your region. The instruction that follows is “Please disable these services on your device to stream videos.”

The reason

It blocks any VPN or proxy it detects

In Pluto’s words: “Since we can’t determine the exact purpose or use for a VPN or proxy, we need to block any use of them.” So Pluto TV does not weigh why you use one. If it recognises the connection, it refuses it.

Devices

Apps for devices “available in your region”

Pluto’s device page lists Fire TV, Apple, Android and Google TV, Samsung, LG, Xbox, Roku and web browsers for devices that are “available in your region”. A shorter list is marked as available only in the United States.

Free

“Drop in. It’s free.”

That is how Pluto’s welcome page opens. The account it offers is optional: “Sign up to enjoy a personalized experience, a kid-friendly space, the latest updates and more.”

Ads

Advertising keeps it free

Paramount described Pluto TV as a provider of “Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST)” when it launched in Sweden, Denmark and Norway in May 2022. Expect advertising breaks; they are what keeps the service free.

Error 3304

Ad blockers can stop a stream

Pluto’s error-code page says code 3304 “This error typically refers to a connectivity or ad blocker issue”, and its fix is to turn the ad blocker off. On a service that runs on advertising, do that before you try anything else.

Taken together, the six lines fix the order of things for anyone in the Netherlands. Pluto TV asks for no account, so there is nothing to prepare in advance. It does judge where you are from the connection, and it refuses the VPNs and proxies it recognises, whatever the reason. A residential U.S. IP is an ordinary American home address rather than a server, but it is still a change of address, and Pluto TV stays free to refuse it.

What Pluto TV’s American service is, in its own words

Pluto TV’s U.S. service is free television funded by advertising. Its welcome page sums it up in one line: “Watch 250+ channels of free TV and 1000s of on-demand movies and TV shows.” Here is what each part means when you are sitting in the Netherlands.

PartWhat Pluto TV saysWhat it means from the Netherlands
Live channels“Watch 100s of free channels - with local & national news, live sports, fan-favorite shows, movies and more.”Scheduled like broadcast television, on American time; the Dutch clock is further down
On demand“Explore 1000s of on-demand movies to full seasons of binge-worthy shows.”No timetable: a film or an episode starts when you press play, at any Dutch hour
AccountOptional; the welcome page offers sign-up for extras, not as a condition for watchingNot needed to watch, and better left out of the first check
Watch ListDevice-specific, and “no free account is needed to use it”Your list lives on the laptop or phone where you built it
CaptionsClosed captions on all devices, according to Pluto’s features pageHandy late at night with the sound turned down
Sign-up formAsks for your name, date of birth, gender and ZIP codeAn American form. You need no account to watch, so skip it, and never invent details to fill it in

So the whole of Pluto TV can be judged without signing up for anything. That counts for more in the Netherlands than it would in Ohio: with no account in the picture, a channel that plays, or a message that appears instead, can only be about the connection.

An account adds the extras Pluto lists — a personalised experience, a space for children, the latest updates — and nothing you need for a first look. If you make one later, make it with your real details or not at all.

Amsterdam is six hours ahead of New York for most of the year

When American television airs on the Dutch clock

The Netherlands keeps Central European Time, and both the Netherlands and the U.S. move to summer time — on different Sundays. For most of 2026 New York is six hours behind Amsterdam and Los Angeles nine; for a few weeks a year the gaps shrink to five and eight. Only Pluto’s live channels are affected. The on-demand titles start whenever you press play.

8 p.m. Eastern2 a.m.1 a.m.
8 p.m. Pacific5 a.m.4 a.m.
1

On demand has no clock

The on-demand catalogue is not scheduled at all. A film or a full season plays at whatever Dutch hour suits you; the time gap only touches the live channels.

2

Live channels keep American hours

Pluto’s live channels run to a timetable, like broadcast television. On the U.S. service, news and live sport happen on American time, so a start at 2 a.m. in Amsterdam is normal rather than a mistake.

3

Your evening is their lunchtime

At 7 p.m. in Rotterdam it is 1 p.m. in New York and 10 a.m. in Los Angeles. What the live channels show during a Dutch evening is American daytime programming.

4

The late-October week

The Netherlands leaves summer time on Sunday 25 October 2026; the U.S. follows on Sunday 1 November. In between, every American time arrives an hour earlier on the Dutch clock: 8 p.m. Eastern becomes 1 a.m.

5

Spring does it again

The same squeeze ran from 8 to 28 March 2026, and it returns from 14 to 27 March 2027, because the U.S. moves its clocks forward two or three weeks before Europe does.

6

One address per evening

Switching between your Dutch line and a U.S. connection halfway through a programme hands Pluto TV two locations in one evening, and leaves you with a result you cannot read. Pick one connection before you press play.

Short weeks: 8–28 March 2026, 25–31 October 2026 and 14–27 March 2027, when only one side of the Atlantic has changed its clocks. Times computed with the IANA time-zone database (version 2026c) for Europe/Amsterdam, America/New_York and America/Los_Angeles.

KPN, VodafoneZiggo, Odido, DELTA: one result

What a Dutch internet connection tells Pluto TV

Every Dutch line, whether fibre, cable, DSL or mobile, gives your devices a public address that places you in the Netherlands, and that address is the main clue a streaming service has about where you are. Choosing a provider changes your speed and your router. It does not change that answer.

How you connectWho provides it (ACM)What Pluto TV sees
Fibre, cable or DSL at homeKPN and VodafoneZiggo each hold 35–40% of the broadband market, Odido 10–15% and DELTA Fiber 5–10%; every other provider 0–5% (fourth quarter of 2025)A Dutch address — and, if your line hands out IPv6, a Dutch IPv6 address too
Mobile data, 4G and 5GKPN and Odido each 25–30% of the mobile market in the first quarter of 2026; VodafoneZiggo 20–25% and the virtual operators 20–25% between them (fourth quarter of 2025)A Dutch address, on the phone and on any hotspot it shares
Office, campus or hotel Wi-FiEmployers, universities, hotelsA Dutch address, sometimes behind rules that stop tunnels; a failure there says more about that network than about Pluto TV
Public Wi-Fi in stations and cafésWhoever runs the hotspotA Dutch address on a network you share with strangers — the setting where Dutch government safety advice brings up VPNs

Dutch lines are fast. ACM counted 91.6% of households on connections of at least 100 Mbps in the first quarter of 2026, and just over 9 million fibre connections in the country, 3.68 million of them in use. Pluto TV’s troubleshooting page sets a far lower bar — “Having a fast connection (faster than 5mb) is certainly important, but having a stable connection” — and puts the weight on stability.

So your home line is rarely the weak point. The stretch that matters is the route across the Atlantic, so measure speed with the U.S. connection running, not before you start it.

ACM publishes market shares in bands rather than exact figures. Its newest Telecommonitor that we found, for the first quarter of 2026 (published 7 July 2026), supplies the mobile shares and speed figures above; the broadband shares come from the edition for the fourth quarter of 2025, published 31 March 2026.

Not every U.S. address looks the same

Four ways to reach Pluto TV, and how each one looks from the other end

Getting an address checker to say “United States” is easy. Pluto TV’s help centre makes clear what it thinks of the usual way of doing that: it blocks the VPNs and proxies it detects. So the kind of address matters, and so does plain honesty about what any address can do.

OptionWhat Pluto TV seesThe catchUseful for

USip residential U.S. IPAn ordinary consumer address on a U.S. internet providerChanges the network side only, and Pluto TV can still refuse itOne steady U.S. address for a check you can read

What a residential U.S. IP changes

  • The public address Pluto TV reads: a U.S. household line in place of a Dutch one
  • Consistency: the same U.S. address from the first channel to the last
  • Clarity: a refusal can no longer be put down to your Dutch line, so the result is easier to read

If a live channel and an on-demand title both play in a clean private window, the address side is settled.

What it cannot change

  • Pluto TV’s VPN and proxy rule, and its freedom to refuse any address, USip’s included
  • The country on your Apple Account or Google account, and so the app store you see
  • Which channels and titles Pluto TV carries on a given day
  • Dutch law, and the rules of an employer’s or a school’s network

Once the browser check settles, leave the network alone. Whatever still goes wrong lives in the app store, the device or Pluto’s line-up.

Ten minutes, one laptop, no account

Checking Pluto TV from the Netherlands in four steps

Because Pluto TV needs no account, this is the cleanest check of any American service: whatever happens can only be about the connection. Use a Windows or Mac laptop, and leave the phone and the television for later.

1

Connect, then read the address checker

Bring the USip connection up on the laptop — the Windows guide and the Mac guide walk through it — then open any IP address checker. The IPv4 line must show a U.S. address. If an IPv6 line appears as well, it must not name KPN, VodafoneZiggo, Odido, DELTA or a Dutch mobile network; if it does, your Dutch line is still talking to websites next to the U.S. one.

2

Open pluto.tv in a fresh private window

A private window brings no cookies from earlier visits on your Dutch address. Pluto TV says “You can watch Pluto TV on the Web, no download needed.” and recommends Chrome or Firefox on a laptop. Turn the ad blocker off for this site — Pluto links error 3304 to ad blockers — and do not sign in to anything.

3

Play one live channel and one on-demand title

Give a live channel a full minute, then start any on-demand film or episode and give that a minute too. Two kinds of playback are a fairer sample than one. Note what each does: a picture, a message, or a spinner that never stops.

4

Read the result in Pluto’s words

Pictures on both mean Pluto TV accepted the address. Its VPN or proxy notice means Pluto identified the connection as one it blocks — and it says it blocks any it detects. Take that at face value: repeat step 1, open a new private window and try once more. Once, not ten times.

USip’s test log holds two Pluto TV entries, and neither comes from the Netherlands. From Denmark on 17 September 2026, a Windows 11 laptop played the Star Trek channel for 15 minutes; from Sweden on 7 September 2026, a Pixel 8 played CSI: Miami season 1, episode 1 on demand for 12 minutes. They show what happened there, on those days, and promise nothing about a Dutch line today.

Laptop first, phone second, television last

Pluto TV on each device in the Netherlands

Pluto TV applies one VPN and proxy rule on every device; the devices differ in how much else can go wrong around it. Settle the address on a laptop, add a phone once that works, and leave the television until the end. The four videos were recorded in September 2022. Their USip connection steps still hold; Pluto’s screens and the app-store steps have changed since.

Windows
Windows

Windows: the browser route, still the simplest

The Windows video opens pluto.tv in a browser, and that is still the easiest way in from the Netherlands: no app store, no account, nothing stored on a television. Pluto TV recommends Chrome or Firefox on a laptop. Import the USip profile into OpenVPN Connect, connect, read the address checker, and only then open a private window. If the laptop belongs to your employer and runs its own VPN, use a personal machine: two tunnels at once make any result impossible to read.

Step by step: the Windows setup guide.

macOS
macOS

macOS: the browser again, and two settings to check

The Mac video also works in the browser, and so should you. Pluto’s device page names the latest Safari alongside Chrome and Firefox. If iCloud Private Relay is on, turn it off for the check, so Safari’s traffic takes one route you can see. And if your Ziggo, KPN or Odido line gives the Mac an IPv6 address, read both lines of the address checker before drawing any conclusion about Pluto.

Step by step: the Mac setup guide.

Android
Android

Android: the video’s Play Store step is out of date

The Android video changes the Google Play country to reach the app. That step no longer fits someone living here: Google’s help page now says you must be in a country to make it your Play country, and wait at least 90 days between changes. We could not check Google Play country by country, so we make no claim about the Dutch store either way.

The USip part of the video, OpenVPN Connect on the phone, still applies. On KPN, Vodafone or Odido mobile data the phone keeps a Dutch address until that connection is up, and Android may close it to save battery, so exempt OpenVPN Connect from battery optimisation.

Step by step: the Android setup guide.

iPhone and iPad
iPhone and iPad

iPhone and iPad: read Apple’s conditions, not the video

The iPhone video moves the App Store to the U.S. Don’t copy that step before reading Apple’s own page on changing your Apple Account country: Apple won’t make the change while subscriptions that block it are still running or a balance is left, and it warns that apps and content can differ between countries. The Dutch App Store had no Pluto TV page on 6 October 2026, and the store follows your Apple Account, not your connection.

Once an app is on the device, the order is simple: OpenVPN Connect first, Pluto TV second, every time.

Step by step: the iOS setup guide.

A television, streaming stick or games console cannot run OpenVPN Connect, so USip connects it through Smart DNS. Register your home’s public IP address with USip first; then enter the DNS details in the device’s network settings, or once on the router for the whole house. If KPN, Ziggo, Odido or DELTA later gives your home a new public address, register the new one.

Whether a Samsung or LG television can get the Pluto TV app here is an app-store question; the App stores section, after the plans, covers it. Set the TV up last, after a laptop has played a channel.

Apple, Google and the Dutch stores

Why the browser comes before any app in the Netherlands

App stores follow the country on your account, not your connection, and that is where most phone and television trouble begins. This is what we could and could not establish on 6 October 2026.

App Store

No Pluto TV page in the Dutch store

Apple’s App Store lists the Pluto TV app in the U.S. and in 13 other countries we looked at, Germany, France, the UK and Denmark among them. For the Netherlands it returned no listing, so an iPhone on a Dutch Apple Account will not find the app.

Apple Account

Changing country changes your whole account

Apple’s page on moving an Apple Account to another country sets out what must happen first, and warns that content can differ afterwards. Read it in full before deciding; it is not a streaming setting.

Google Play

Not checked, and stricter than it was

We could not check Google Play country by country, so we say nothing either way about the Dutch Play Store. Google’s rule for switching is clear, though: you must be in the new country, and wait at least 90 days between changes.

Web player

“You can watch Pluto TV on the Web, no download needed.”

That line from Pluto’s help centre is why a laptop browser comes first: no store, no account, no download. Pluto adds: “For the best viewing experience on your desktop/laptop, please use Chrome or Firefox.”

Smart TVs

Samsung and LG appear on Pluto’s device list

Pluto TV names Samsung Tizen televisions from 2017 and LG webOS among its platforms, offered where they are available in your region. We did not check the Dutch Samsung or LG app stores, so we make no claim about them.

U.S.-only devices

Chromecast, PlayStation, Sony TV, Vizio

Pluto TV marks these as available only in the United States, together with TiVo, Comcast and Cox X1 boxes and Hisense Vidaa + App. If you own one, Smart DNS is the USip route; if not, the list does not concern you.

Dutch rules, stated carefully

VPNs, Dutch law and Pluto TV’s rule, side by side

People ask whether a VPN is legal in the Netherlands. Here is what we found, what we did not, and Pluto TV’s own rule beside it, so you can weigh both before deciding anything.

The Dutch side

Government safety advice treats a VPN as a security tool

Veiliginternetten.nl, the online-safety initiative of the National Cyber Security Centre, the Dutch economic affairs ministry and ECP, describes a VPN as a way to make “een beveiligde verbinding” — a secure connection — on public Wi-Fi. We have not found a Dutch law that bans VPN software as such.

Pluto TV’s side

A block on any VPN or proxy it detects

Pluto TV’s help centre leaves no room for doubt: it blocks “any use” of VPNs and proxies, because it has no way to know what each one is for. A residential U.S. IP is a home address rather than a VPN server, but Pluto can still refuse it, and the rule applies to you in the Netherlands as anywhere else.

We are not lawyers, and nothing here is legal advice. Rules about reaching or sharing particular content are a separate question from the software itself, and they can change. If it matters in your situation — an employer’s network, a university’s acceptable-use rules, a contract — ask someone qualified in the Netherlands rather than a streaming guide.

We could not read Pluto TV’s U.S. terms of use, so we do not describe them. What we can show is Pluto’s help centre, quoted on this page, and the plain fact that Pluto TV runs no Dutch service. Both belong in your decision before anything you do with us.

What Dutch readers ask, answered from the sources

Pluto TV in the Netherlands — FAQ

Answered from Pluto TV’s own pages, Dutch providers’ and broadcasters’ pages, ACM’s figures and Dutch government safety advice, each read on 6 October 2026. Where the honest answer is that it depends, we say on what.

Is Pluto TV available in the Netherlands?

No. Pluto TV runs no Dutch service. Its local versions run in countries such as Germany, France, the UK and Denmark, and Apple’s App Store lists the app there, but the Dutch App Store had no Pluto TV listing when we checked on 6 October 2026. Pluto offers its apps on devices that are “available in your region”, and the Netherlands is not one of its regions. What remains is the American service, free with ads.

Is Pluto TV free in the Netherlands?

Pluto TV is free wherever it runs — “Drop in. It’s free.” is how its U.S. welcome page opens, and advertising funds it. There is no Dutch edition, though, so from here the real question is location. If a U.S. address is part of your answer, USip is a separate service with its own plans; Pluto TV itself stays free.

Do I need a Pluto TV account to watch?

No. The account is optional: Pluto’s welcome page offers one for “a personalized experience, a kid-friendly space, the latest updates and more”. The Watch List works without one too — Pluto says “no free account is needed to use it” — though the list stays on the device where you made it. The sign-up form asks for name, date of birth, gender and ZIP code. You do not need it to watch, so skip it.

Why does Pluto TV ask me to disable my VPN?

Because it believes it has found one. Pluto’s help centre says the notice means “we’ve detected that your device is connected to a VPN, proxy service, or other software”, and explains: “Since we can’t determine the exact purpose or use for a VPN or proxy, we need to block any use of them.” A residential U.S. IP is a household address rather than a server, but Pluto can still identify or refuse any connection. Check both address lines, try once more in a new private window, and stop there.

Can I watch Pluto TV on my Samsung or LG TV in the Netherlands?

Pluto TV lists Samsung Tizen TVs (2017 or newer) and LG webOS among its platforms for devices that are “available in your region”, and the Netherlands is not a Pluto region. We did not check the Dutch Samsung or LG app stores, so we cannot say whether either offers the app here. Both TVs already carry free channels for Dutch viewers: Samsung TV Plus and LG Channels. For a television, USip uses Smart DNS; set it up last, after a laptop works.

Can I watch Star Trek on Pluto TV from the Netherlands?

Pluto TV’s U.S. line-up had a Star Trek channel when USip logged it from Denmark on 17 September 2026: it played for 15 minutes on a Windows laptop. That is one dated sighting from another country, not a promise for a Dutch line today, and Pluto changes its channels. In the Netherlands, SkyShowtime — launched as a Comcast and Paramount joint venture — lists Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4, but it is not free.

Are Comedy Central, MTV and Nickelodeon on Dutch TV?

Yes, as Dutch channels of Paramount brands — the same Paramount that owns Pluto TV. KPN’s Digitenne list, read on 6 October 2026, has Comedy Central on 11, Nickelodeon on 12 and MTV on 13; other providers number them differently, so check your own guide. They run Dutch schedules. Whether Pluto’s U.S. service has a matching channel on a given day is something we cannot promise, because its line-up changes.

What free streaming services are there in the Netherlands?

Several, and none needs a U.S. address. Samsung TV Plus offers free live and on-demand channels on Samsung TVs and Galaxy phones, without a Samsung account. LG Channels is a free service on LG smart TVs from 2016 onwards. NPO Start lets you watch NPO broadcasts back free, with or without an account, and KIJK is Talpa’s free on-demand platform for SBS6, Net5, Veronica and SBS9. Pluto TV adds American channels; it does not replace these.

What time is U.S. prime time in the Netherlands?

Very late. For most of the year 8 p.m. in New York is 2 a.m. in Amsterdam, and 8 p.m. in Los Angeles is 5 a.m. During the short weeks when only one side has changed its clocks — 25–31 October 2026 and 14–27 March 2027 — both arrive an hour earlier. Pluto’s on-demand titles are not scheduled at all, so they play at any Dutch hour.

Is it legal to use a VPN in the Netherlands?

We have not found a Dutch law that bans VPN software as such, and the government-backed safety site Veiliginternetten.nl explains a VPN as a way to make a secure connection on public Wi-Fi. We are not lawyers, and rules about particular content are a separate matter, so ask a qualified local source if it matters to you. Pluto TV’s rule is separate again: it blocks any VPN or proxy it detects.

Does it matter whether I am on KPN, Ziggo, Odido or DELTA?

Not for Pluto TV. Every Dutch line gives your devices a Dutch public address, whoever provides it; KPN and VodafoneZiggo each hold 35–40% of Dutch broadband, by ACM’s figures for the end of 2025. What can matter is IPv6: if your provider gives the laptop an IPv6 address, the address checker must not show a Dutch provider on that line once the U.S. connection is up.

Can I get the Pluto TV app from the Dutch App Store or Google Play?

Not from the Dutch App Store: it had no Pluto TV listing on 6 October 2026. We could not check Google Play country by country, so we make no claim about it. Both stores follow the country on your account, not your connection, and moving that country is governed by Apple’s and Google’s own conditions — Google, for one, requires you to be in the new country. That is why this guide starts in a browser.

Has USip’s connection been tried with Pluto TV from the Netherlands?

Not from the Netherlands. USip’s log holds two Pluto TV entries. From Denmark on 17 September 2026, a Windows 11 laptop with OpenVPN Connect 3.7 and Chrome 152 played the Star Trek channel for 15 minutes. From Sweden on 7 September 2026, a Pixel 8 with the Pluto TV app played CSI: Miami season 1, episode 1 on demand for 12 minutes. Both showed the U.S. catalogue. Pluto TV can still refuse any address.

Where to go next

The Pluto TV hub, and the guides for seven other countries

Pluto TV’s rules, error messages and U.S. service are covered in full on the hub. For a Dutch reader, the Belgium and Finland guides are the nearest comparisons: two more European countries where Pluto TV has no service of its own.

Pluto TV in seven other countries

Check the Dutch channel first, then one American one

Start with what is already yours. If Comedy Central, MTV or Nickelodeon on your own television, Star Trek on SkyShowtime, or the free channels on Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, NPO Start or KIJK cover what you want, you need nothing from us.

If it is Pluto TV’s American line-up you are after, give it ten minutes on one laptop without an account: read both address lines, open a private window, then play a live channel and an on-demand title. Pictures mean the address side is settled. Pluto’s VPN or proxy notice is an answer too — note it word for word, try once more, and stop there.

USip supplies the residential U.S. IP connection only. Pluto TV is free and separate; its channels, its rules and its decision on any address are Pluto TV’s own.
