Peacock on Windows
Install OpenVPN Connect, import your USip profile and connect. Verify the VPN public IP on this device before opening the streaming app or a supported browser. Follow the Windows setup guide.
Peacock’s US streaming service is offered in the United States and listed US territories. Some Peacock and NBCUniversal programmes are licensed to other services abroad, but those local subscriptions are separate from a US Peacock account.
This guide explains the account and device checks, how to set up USip and what our dated playback records show.

Peacock does not offer its US service worldwide. Its official availability list covers the United States, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Peacock’s terms also restrict use outside its service territory.
A residential US IP from USip VPN changes network location. It does not supply a Peacock subscription, change your account eligibility or guarantee playback. If you want one particular show, also check whether a local service already carries it.
| What you want to watch | Check first |
|---|---|
| A Peacock film or series | The exact title and season, and whether your Peacock plan includes it |
| A programme offered by a local service | That service’s catalog and subscription; local licensing does not create a Peacock account |
| Live sport | The event listing, required plan and regional blackouts; an on-demand episode test does not verify live access |
| A subscription supplied by another company | Activation and sign-in instructions from the company that supplied it |
| A TV or streaming-device app | Peacock model support, app availability and the account already signed in |
Check Peacock’s current plans for the content you need. Peacock and USip are separate subscriptions.
| Symptom | Useful next check |
|---|---|
| Unavailable in your region | Verify the connection on the playback device and reopen Peacock after connecting. If it persists, keep the exact message for support. |
| The app opens but the title will not play | Check the title’s plan requirements, update the app and try the same account in a supported browser. |
| A TV fails while a phone works | Check the TV’s app/account and Smart DNS setup, including current home-IP registration. |
| The Peacock app is missing from the store | Check the device, app-store country and official model support. A VPN connection does not itself change the store account. |
| A live match is unavailable | Check the current schedule, plan and blackout rules. Do not infer live access from a successful film or episode. |

You need an active USip subscription or trial for the connection. Start with the setup guide for your device below.
USip VPN routes computer and phone traffic through a real US home broadband connection. The assigned public IP is used by one USip customer at a time. The location is assigned automatically, so USip does not offer a chosen US city or a permanent fixed IP.
For TVs, streaming boxes and consoles, USip uses Smart DNS configured on the device or router. It requires registration of the current home public IP and does not provide VPN encryption.
The streaming service still controls the account, content and playback decision. A successful recorded test is evidence about that setup and date, not every future session.
Choose the instructions for the device that will play the video. Computers and phones use OpenVPN Connect; TVs and streaming devices use Smart DNS. Your streaming account is separate from USip.
Video interfaces may differ from current app versions. Follow the written setup guide if a screen or button has changed.

Use USip Smart DNS on the TV or router. Confirm access and register the home network’s current public IP before entering the DNS settings. Use the streaming app supported by your device and subscription. A normal IP lookup may still show your home country.
Peacock plans differ in included content, ads and features. Check the current plan comparison for the programme or live event you want to watch; a subscription supplied by another company may have its own activation process.
Compare current Peacock plans. Peacock access and the USip connection are purchased separately.

USip VPN connects through real U.S. home broadband. Your assigned public IP is used by one USip customer at a time. USip VPN and Peacock are separate services: the plans include the connection only — not a Peacock subscription, account, payment method, app-store region or rights to a title or game.
Germany · Mac · 14 October 2026, 20:55 UTC — Issues. The USip team recorded nine minutes of Yellowstone S1E1 using a MacBook Air M2, Safari 26.6 and OpenVPN Connect 3.7. The tester marked the US catalog as available and reported a region message until the app was restarted.

Its official service area is the United States and listed US territories. Individual Peacock or NBCUniversal programmes may be licensed to local services elsewhere, under those services’ own accounts and catalogs.
Not automatically. Local rights to a programme and a US Peacock subscription are different. Check which company supplies your account and where it tells you to watch.
No. Live events have their own schedules, plan requirements and possible regional blackouts. Test the event you intend to watch separately.
No. It covers the USip connection. You need your own eligible Peacock account and a plan that includes the programme.
Use Smart DNS on the TV or router. Confirm access, register the home network’s current public IP and use a supported Peacock app. An ordinary IP lookup may still show your home country.
Check that you set up the actual playback device, then reopen Peacock after connecting. A US IP lookup alone does not prove Peacock accepts the session. Send a persistent error and your device details to USip Support.
Connect to the residential U.S. IP, open a private desktop browser and play one ordinary on-demand title your plan includes. That single result tells you whether network, browser and basic account are working; if it plays, move to the game, the channel or the device you actually want.
